This is the best overview of holistic methods of healing and the balance between the body's organs and systems that I have ever read. Silvia Casiabianca is to be commended for her knowledge, insight, and ability to explain it all in a beautiful way that also just makes sense. I recommend this book highly.

The “Healthy Back” – System is based on Sampoorna Hatha Yoga and uses exercises that deal with five movements, but at the same time, harmonize the entire body.  A special combination of movement and breathing helps to relax the mind and develop concentration.  Massage therapists learn a “long form”, a 30 min program to strengthen the entire body with a main focus on the back muscles. It consists of breathing exercises, warming up and strengthening exercises and relaxation techniques. It can be practiced by everyone, regardless of age or physical condition.  It consists of 4 movements, each of which takes the practitioner a little further in his practice to regain the a natural state of wellbeing and health.

It also includes a “short form,” a set of exercises, which take only 3-5 minutes to practice. Ideal for the little breaks in-between the massages.

INSTRUCTOR:
• Brahmadev has dedicated his entire life to the study and teachings of Sampooma Yoga. He has also published books on Hatha Yoga and was awarded the title of “Sampooma Yoga Archarya” by his teacher, Shri Yogi Hari.
• He was the director of the Center for Preventative Medicine and Health Education “Vie-la” in Germany.  He has been a Continuing Education Provider for massage therapists and physical therapists in cooperation with the Barmer Health Insurance in Germany for 5 years. He is also a founder member of the Committee formulating the “Healthy back” – system, in Germany and has been an instructor for Yoga teachers at Yogi Hari’s Ashram, Miramar, FL in the last 7 years.
